A Bespoke garment is a hand-made item of clothing, a garment that is meant to fit you & only you. Using hand-drawn patterns, bespoke aims to disguise postural anomalies. Examples include round/high/low shoulders, different sleeve/leg lengths. Even the way somebody stands can change the way the garment is cut. What makes bespoke?
Unlike made to measure, which employs computerised patterns and electronic cutting, bespoke require’s manual cutting, trimming, and finishing. Each piece of the garment is cut by hand to correct body imperfections and appearance. A bespoke suit is very personal and expert guidance is imperative on subsequent visits, the stylist will understand the customer’s needs. Bespoke shirts
Well fitted shirts are a staple to a man’s wardrobe. A good quality shirt can last years with care. Instore, we stock a variety of shirts. Formal, dress & casual. Bespoke shirts take a step further, Bespoke allows you to select material, fit and collar type. At Suit Yourself we also stock crease-resistant & non-iron shirts. Our Process
TAILORING - MADE TO MEASURE
Step 1
Browse through our extensive collection of fabrics & discuss design ideas. If you have a colour scheme in mind, please bring the relevant fabric swatches/images and let one of our experts guide you.
Please allow a minimum of one hour.
Step 2
Pick your Fabrics from our collection of books, choose from 1000s of fabrics including super 120 wools, Silk, Luxury Cashmere & Vicuna fabrics. Style your suit with custom lining, buttons and hand stitching.
Step 3
Once you have chosen your fabric, it’s time to be measured by one of our professional consultants. We will ask questions and guide you to ensure your garment fits properly. A Made to Measure garment can include up to 40 body measurements to create the right fit. From here your order will be sent to our workrooms.
Step 4
Come in for a fitting, try your suit, our experts will identify if any further adjustments are required before it’s ready. These will be completed by our in-house tailoring professionals.
